Applausi
The Aperitivi Milano (Milan style buffet) is reason enough to visit Milano. Around six o'clock all bars have great buffets that's free of charge if you buy a drink, beer or wine. That means you pay about 5 Euros for a frozen strawberry daiquiri and as much mortadella, prosciutto, bruschetta, olives, chips, salsa and whatever else is on the table. To find the best ones you either visit them all (might take a life time) or you check one of the many guides on the internet.
I think I had my best meat ever at an Argentinian restaurant in Milan, called Don Juan, when I was there a year ago. We had to wait quite a long time for a table but it was definitely worth it. Think I ordered one of the cheaper meat dishes on the menu so I can only imagine how good the more expensive ones was. To go with the meat I got fries shaped as chips or chips with the consistency of fries depending on how you want to look at it. Anyhow, they're probably in my top 3 fries list ever. If you go to Milan you gotta check this place out.
